Why Corian

Why a Corian vanity?

What is a Corian vanity?

A Corian vanity is a bathroom vanity made from Corian solid surface, a non-porous, acrylic-based material. Its pieces can be joined and thermoformed so the countertop and integrated basin form one seamless surface that is easy to clean and can be repaired if scratched.

Corian vs marble vs quartz vs tile

Every material has strengths. Marble offers natural veining, quartz is hard-wearing, and tile is versatile. Corian is the choice when you want a seamless integrated basin and a surface that can be repaired.

Care and maintenance

How do you clean a Corian vanity? Wipe it with mild soapy water, dry it, and avoid harsh solvents and direct heat.

  1. Daily

Wipe with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild soap or non-abrasive cleaner. Dry to avoid water marks.

  2. Weekly

Use a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner and rinse. Avoid strong solvents and paint removers.

  3. Marks

For stubborn marks on matte finishes, a mild abrasive cleaner with a damp sponge in a circular motion usually works.

  4. Heat

Do not place hair straighteners or very hot tools directly on the surface. Use a heat-resistant mat.
